I was looking at the Wikipedia page about the fruit drink Fruitopia, which lead me to the page about the history of the Soft Drink, which had a subsection about Lemonaide, and how it was a French drink dating back to the 1600s A.D. - they made it with lemon juice, water, and honey. Sounds a lot better than the Minute Maid stuff you buy nowadays. So I tried it and it tastes great. You don't need to put 1/2 pound sugar into a jug...Use some liquid honey instead.
The story about French lemonaide said that people would walk through town with a canister of the refreshment on their backs and cups - instant small business!
