Dreams Of School

Someone on the David Icke Forum posted a dream story about being at school. It was very similar to mine I used to have repeatedly in the mid- late-1980s...

One reacurring element is I always have a locker and usually forget where it is or I can't get in to it. I have no idea what it means but I think such dreams are quite common because there is some part of us that wants to fulfill something we missed.

Yes, yes, yes.

When I was in my late teens/early 20s (1985-1988) I took a course at a faraway suburban school (I lived close to the edge of our central city) that taught Apple Mac (new at the time) and linear video editing.

Before that time I attended grades 10-12 (1981-1985) at a much closer high school.

A few times in those years I had a reoccurring dream just like yours.

The scene of the dream was at the first high school. And just like you my dream story had to do with being assigned a locker at the beginning of the school year, was issued a combo lock with a paper giving the numbers. The hallways are full of kids. Then somehow losing or not remembering the combo lock numbers and having to go back (the hassle) to the student office to tell them I forgot the combo. The woman at the student office gave me a strange look like there was something wrong with me.

Once there was a variant of that where there were other kids in the lineup ahead of me, waiting to talk with the student office.

Another similar story line goes like this...

Previous months had signed up for some high school classes, and on the day that I'm supposed to start the first class on whatever subject, I lost/misplaced the paper where (room #) I'm supposed to go. I end up just walking around, almost in a daze (lucid dream state) trying to find this damn room.

WTF?

Yeah, these kinds of dreams must have some kind of meaning... LOL

This never happened in real life however. Life was much easier back then with less to remember in daily life.
